Job Description
About the Role
We’re seeking a Finance Business Partner (Management Accountant) to provide high-quality financial insights, analysis, and advice for our Service Delivery business. You’ll play a key role in supporting planning and decision-making, ensuring the integrity of our financial information, and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.
In this role you will:
Prepare accurate and timely management and month-end reporting, including detailed analysis of costs, assets, and contracting work in progress (WIP)
Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning processes, including variance analysis and commentary
Partner with managers and project teams to provide financial advice, insights, and guidance on business performance and improvement opportunities
Analyse job costing and contracting WIP, ensuring profitability and compliance with IFRS 15 revenue recognition requirements
Maintain and reconcile fixed assets, balance sheets, and project financials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Oversee stock and inventory control, including stocktake reviews and identifying areas for improvement
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
You are a CA-qualified (or equivalent qualification) Accountant with a strong grounding in management accounting and business partnering, ideally from an infrastructure, construction or similar business, where you understand job costing, WIP and how to ensure financial information is utilised, for a business like ours.
You are detail-focused, organised, thrive through change, and are comfortable working with complex data and deadlines.
You’ll also bring:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Confidence using Excel and financial systems (experience with MS Business Central or Navision is a massive bonus)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
