Human Resouces & Recruitment

Where people, culture, safety and connection come together.

Do you love creating great experiences, bringing energy to a team, and making things run seamlessly behind the scenes?

Are you naturally organised, tech-savvy, and the person everyone relies on to “just get things sorted”?

Want to work in a business where people genuinely matter, culture is lived every day and we have fun.

We are looking for a People, Safety and Culture Administrator to become the heartbeat of the team, supporting everything from recruitment and onboarding, to wellbeing initiatives, training coordination, systems administration, company events, and helping create an exceptional employee experience across the business.

Job Description

Working closely with the wider People, Safety and Culture team, you will provide coordination and administrative support across the full employee lifecycle. One day you could be preparing employment documentation and onboarding new starters, the next supporting company events, training and compliance activity, maintaining HR systems, or helping deliver a positive people experience across the business.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys building relationships, takes initiative naturally, and genuinely loves creating positive experiences for others.

What makes this role special?

  • A genuinely people-first business with an incredible culture
  • A varied role across people, culture, wellbeing, training and events
  • The opportunity to help shape employee experiences across the business
  • A collaborative team that values initiative, ideas and connection
  • Meaningful work supporting local communities
  • Horowhenua based, with travel to Kapiti based office as required

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, professionalism, and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.

Ideally, you will have pervious administration experience within an HR discipline or have recently completed a tertiary qualification in a people-focused area such as HR, recruitment, training, or health and safety.

Desired Skills and Experience

What will help you succeed:

  • Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Initiative and the ability to pick up systems quickly
  • A high level of discretion and professionalism
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and systems/technology
  • HRIS experience (ELMO experience highly advantageous)
  • A genuine passion for people, culture and creating positive experiences
